Knowing the asking price is only half the story. The Monthly Cost Indicator gives house hunters a realistic view of what a property actually costs to own, surfaced at exactly the right moment.

House seekers on Funda had access to asking prices, but the real question, what will this cost me every month, required leaving the platform to figure out. That friction was unnecessary.

I proposed integrating the Monthly Cost Indicator directly into the property detail page: a fast, contextual estimate built into the moment of decision.
Funda
Funda controls 90% of the Dutch housing market. That dominance had become a reason to stand still. As Head of UX I worked on two fronts: sharpening a feature that sits at the heart of every house hunt, and making the case for modernising the platform as a whole.
